What a daft conversation, A NO vote is just that, why would the union suddenly not exist.
The RCN rejected a bad deal endorsed by the union, so shall we!

The nurses have a hospital to go back to, we will not have a business & the nurses have the public on their side, we don't, nobody notices if they don't get a bill for a few days.
People are not interested in us so vote yes or vote no to lose your livelihood

Again I think most would rather see a badly run business go to the wall than be exploited for profit, find another job Royal Mail is in flames

Not quite right.

Every nation needs a national postal service operator. That's us, whatever happens.

Royal Mail in some form will always exist. Vote no and we can shape it, not Simon Thompson.

How about, go and find another job without burning down Royal Mail, so those of us who want to continue can do so? Such a selfish attitude.

It will be a clear Yes.

It seems most people on here are angry and claim they will vote no, but I have yet to read a good reason as to why. A lot of people can't even understand that they will be getting £2,500 extra pay versus what they were getting in 2021/2022, assuming they are a full timer.

I understand there are changes that suck, but that's bound to be the case when you have been in dispute for a year. We are not going to get a 15% pay rise and zero change which it seems most people commenting on here wanted.

You're not living in reality if you think we could get that type of pay rise and reverse all revisions and have wonderful managers come in who great you with a smile and just ask you to do the job properly and not to worry if you can't complete....

We ain't living in that world. We have been harassed by management for years - that's not going to change. Just shove it back in their faces by starting on time, taking your breaks and working your hours. Then laugh in their faces when they question you.

I think most people go to work to pay the mortgage, utility bills and take the kids out rather than worry if a company is run correctly, As long as they are getting extra money ( up to 2.5 grand in this case) most normal people will be happy and will change how they live for it.

A bit delusional I'm afraid. We, as you term it, will not have any say in shaping any kind of postal service.

Spot on, especially the highlighted part.

Focus your frustrations on management not union reps and show the company how incompetent their managers realy are.

Balls in your own court what you do with it is up to you.

I think you mean - laugh in their faces as they "performance management" you out of the business.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
