Even for the management at Royal Mail this is as low as it gets! We all wake up on a normal April 1st and see if we can spot the April fool weather that be on TV or newspapers etc, but this a dispute which is as serious as it gets and a good percentage of the workforce are probably at their wit’s end because of stress! Financially or mentally and just probably praying for and end to what has been the most soul destroying year. So for a management to then think it would be acceptable behaviour under these circumstances to put a statement out like this just goes to prove what level of immaturity they are at?
Now weather this was an easy “prank” (and I use that word very loosely) to figure out is besides the point certain people will be clinging on to any positivity that comes their way because of their mental state! This is management narcissism which is coercive control which can be reported by law taking into account what Royal Mail have been involved in which was highlighted in the government select committee.
