im in the same situation my partner is off sick, its a big office, everyone else has partners yet they all have 1 days off mail, i am just taking tracks out and a couple of loops aday because i cant fit anymore in the frame and theirs trays and trays of mail for both walks of mine and my vacant partners frame, to me it would make sense for my manager to give me someone to get some mail out, but no doesnt seem to give a s**t, so why i should i care, and no i wont catch up its two frames worth of about 5 days worth of mail continuly getting worse and lucky if i get a loop out tomorrow, shambles

You are upset because you have standards - that's very good. Just do your best and work your time and let it be the manager's problem.

Don't stress it, I know it's easier said than done because like me you sound like you want to clear everything because you have pride in yourself but unfortunately them days are gone.

Do what you can in the time you have and that's that.

Bonus is not related to standard parcels and recorded, I said to my Manager the other day, bet you've hit your target for the bonus, he said no my 'card' is only showing green on signing in/out everything else is Red absolute bulls*** must think I came down in the last shower!

Probably not personal, more than likely an idiot who doesn't have the common sense to realise it would make sense to put someone on with you for a couple of days to plough through the backlog. Royal mail management in a nutshell, the bad ones heavily outweigh the good ones!

this is why we won't get a decent deal, rm don't give a flying feck about letters
it needs cwu to issue a statement that you bag up everything asked by a comm no matter what time you get out, deliver the route in a normal manner and like always break off for 1pm specials,
then at 12pm if no phone call ON THE PDA and not your own mobile unless they are paying the bill, drive back and inform them that you cannot complete and will go back out, also a chance to take a break with facilities,
wtf are people using their own mobiles for?
only way to hit these tw@ts is to stop their "deliver tracked no matter" mentality

Don’t take it personally. Look on the bright side if you can, you’re doing a lot less walking just doing the packets. What’s not getting done is not your problem
