Which is why I skipped with delight past the house of a Royal Mail higher up again today on my round, yes I had 6 letters for him but none are tracked and we are a parcel business so back in the frame they went. I’m sure he’ll understand.
He might get them Friday. If he’s lucky.

Surely they can’t get rid of thousands of non drivers
1 they don’t have enough people to cover everything
2 it’s probably illegal - just because you don’t drive not a good reason = employment laws??

It is a good idea to raise the pressure on the government and members of parliament. IA alone
will not be enough. Hundreds of thousands of postal staff and their families contacting public representatives to raise concerns is a good idea, probably should have been doing this a bit earlier.
I have been in this job for a long time and I have friends and colleagues in different offices and we agree that we have never witnessed such harsh and abrasive management. It is clear that all management have been given a free hand to act as badly as they see fit.

Yes I realise they can’t officially do it but….
Some offices have been doing that pre covid, most offices were doing that during covid and continued that practice after covid.
