Totally. I'm in the position of being scared to jump into the unknown and as royal mail are aware a lot feel the same and are banking on this to secure submission. Agency everywhere draining our petrol never filling up taking out third of a York. It's all dirty tactics. Thompson must have security around him. That's not a threat but if this kind of provocation occurred in the street a mass brawl would be abound.

The new mail arrival times would also be explained (Scotland being at the end of the pipeline meant that the second wave would arrive in Mail Centres circa 07.10 Edinburgh and circa 06.50 Glasgow with 30 minute turnaround time. This would determine what time wave 2 arrived at DO’s Aberdeen and Inverness yet to be clarified.

Even just walk sort mech only, they can dream on if they think it'll be a 30min turnaround time, an hour is more realistic, if it's going to be a lot of parcels and Tracked then you're probably looking more at it being 2 hours

That's probably what they want, get rid of all the rule book players and replace them with starters on the new contracts, problem is at least 50% of those leave within the month!

When it says 30mins flexibility I presume thats already based on the flex agreement that says you don't have to?

Remember one of our old Dom’s brought it up years ago. They could only do the 30 min flex once but had to be paid back usually a light Tuesday

It can’t work for indoor. 10 minutes is usually allowed from the time you and the PDA returns to the office so I guess that’s when they will pay you until, the next level would have to be docking stoppages on delivery.

theres a recession coming, unemployment to go up rapidly, jobs be scarce, so 9 months redundancy aint enough, its a big come down from 24 months, if royal mail don't put it to at least 12 months then they will struggle to get people going voluntary

Previous redundancy terms. If they go for statutory then for someone with 35 years service would be roughly 13,500. Anyone under 2 years service would not be entitled to anything. Tho I think long as you've done more than 2 years still be 13,500. Point being if someone done basically a lifetime of service that could be deemed to be all they're worth to bugger off

ST insisting ACAS was involved if a complete mystery as they seem to have had zero affect on the negotiations.

We've also been told our LATs duty is going early next year not sure if it's being taken over by the parcel hub, if so, the delivery driver will have an hours round trip just to get to our DO or it's just being rolled into the normal duties,
