Yes a workplace ballot, they want to talk to us to find out what we want.

Also another ballot, a Vote of no confidence in the CEO.

I agree tonight was a shitshow.

Not the strategy necessarily.

But their communication skills are abysmal. No-one actually knows what dates we're striking now. How hard is it to read out a bloody list?

24th, 25th and 30th of November and the 2nd of December!

Everything else cancelled.

They have a mandate for strikes for a no strings pay rise, there is no consultation needed. Not that we are getting a no strings pay rise now or ever.

The CWU have tonight announced four additional strikes dates on Thursday 24th November, Friday 25th November, Wednesday 30th November and Friday 2nd December.
They have cancelled strike dates for Saturday 12th November and Monday 14th November.

This should read

Thursday 24th November Friday 25th November
Wednesday 30th November Thursday 1st December

Will it be anything like the ballot we had (which was done on the unions branch Facebook group) for the average holiday pay farce?

We had a Facebook poll for 24 hours, about 17 voted, the result was overwhelmingly no (not that it made a difference to the end result).

Is a "workplace ballot" just a show of hands after a local office meeting, or a secret ballot with ballot papers cast in a ballot box in person after such a meeting? Or something else. Presumably not a postal ballot or online ballot?

04:00 Day A to 04:00 Day C actually means all shifts are on strike on Day A and Day B. They are not on strike on Day C, which some oik who posted on RM Communications account also failed to understand!!

Why are we balloting on a worse offer than we rejected in June,what has changed in those meetings,we gave the union the biggest ever mandate now get on with it and do your job.
