Re: CWU letter to thompson
They WILL move forward once the CWU AND RM establish the set of ground rules and protocols are put in place. Not until then....he's jumping the gun...as dave ward says...he clearly does not understand how acas works. Which is obvious...he's never had disputes with unions before now.

Simons team will probably agree the ground rules then Thompson will say later no that wasn’t agreed and u turn again.daveyeff wrote: ↑22 Oct 2022, 16:49They WILL move forward once the CWU AND RM establish the set of ground rules and protocols are put in place. Simon Says
looks like CWU reps are trying to change history - CWU made it very clear in the room - that facilitation did not mean ACAS - we asked many times about that - but they now appear to have changed their minds - after 29 days - which is a positive step - surely if ACAS has been ok - we wouldn’t have waited nearly a month - to move forward….
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

No need for this statement, just another snide dig. Someone turn his router off for the weekend.POSTMAN wrote: ↑22 Oct 2022, 17:41Simon Says

Re: CWU letter to thompson
they are only going to acas IF the ground rules and protocols are agreed. and one of them is, NOT to postpone/call off strikes unless RM are seriously going to talk and back off with their executive decisions. he's s**t stirring again.

If the discussions fail it will be down to Thompson with his snide digs and always wanting the last word, he is an absolute melon.

We need someone from the union to confirm if the Acas stuff is happening.

Re: CWU letter to thompson
Correct, when I hear reports of him getting booed and people refusing to shake his hand I think he’s been getting off lightly.
Certainly in my DO tempers are getting frayed now, there’s a lot of anger and we are approaching that tricky time of year too.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.
