Its not that RM want exact numbers, the law requires you to tell them.
This is anti union legislation, if you vote tory you are partly to blame, unfortunately a change of government won't change any of these laws. Blair could have done away with the lot and didn't.
You cannot blame RM for using the law against us, if our legally binding agreements were worth a wank we wouldn't be in this mess and the Union would have used to law against RM.
Yepp, it always makes me bang my head against a wall, that people will stand on a picket line, after having voted in the people so ideologically opposed to unions, that they heavily legislate against them.
I'd really like to know how they deal with the Cognitive Dissonance, or whether they don't even even think about it. And funnily enough, they'll also be the ones most outraged by the Union's balls up.
You are spot on Murdoch , these legislations are put in place to trip up any Union action , the Union has to be perfect every time in its process . now you can argue that is what it should be but when you compare it with the lying , cheating , manipulating Band of Brothers and Sisters that are supposed to be looking after everyone's " we are all in it together " backs you can quickly conclude it is not a Level Playing Field.
The Union will only do so much , can only do so much and that is "Do A Deal " and in this so corrupt Country we now find us in , that is so much harder to do .

When doing functional strikes you need to give notice of how many people for each function are striking and when

Guess this explains why we suddenly got more 'all out' strike days out of nowhere - CWU got the letter, realised rolling strikes were f****d and had to give notice as soon as possible to get some strikes in.

Whatever the union say, it weakens our position if only on a competence level, and I have little faith that further mistakes won't be made down the road.
