Not everywhere has local elections, think it's less than 1/4 of the country.

Simple until they bring in commit to deliver.
That’s forced OT - we’re not slaves
You have all these people complaining about how poor a "vital" service is and remember Pullinger describing us as the 4th emergency service?
If it really is a vital service it would make sense for us to be treated like the other emergency services.
The fire brigade don't put their hoses away when it is home time if there is a blaze somewhere.

If I understand correctly the union idea of "heavy and light" involves lapsing walks.
There are many posts on here from people saying they don't ever do lapsing, they just walk slower to fill their time.
So the USO, a vital service, is going to fail as some people walk slower to avoid doing any extra?
How could you avoid that situation?
RM was only vital during COVID if you asked customers to vote now I'd imagine they'd probably say their Amazon deliveries are now more vital, we're probably now evel with EVRi!

As far as the USO issue manager's actually needs to manage their staff.

Then why are all these MPs getting their knickers in a twist?
Why are people being called before parliamentary committees?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

It's all just showboating, unless things have changed under Labour then you just know nothing will happen after the PC, it'll be interesting to see if RM accept they can abide by the USO and blame the union for delaying the ODM changes or now seek extra funding from Government.

What happened after the last PC? Nothing. Thompson went on gardening leave, Webb managed to stay in his job for a while until getting moved to a less obvious role somewhere where it's not visible what a embarrassment he is and Darren Jones kept climbing the greasy pole of politics. All of them just as bad as each other - management, union and politicians.

This odm plan........called lunatic madness deranged physcothic killing its work force statistic plan happens by executive force.......

Kiss goodbye to your business..

Delivery offices are bear of staff now... everyone is leaving now.

So if they force this deranged madness in.....

No more delivery staff.... cause they all just leave... those that are still in delivery

I doubt RM really care if legacy contract staff leave as they'll just replace them with cheaper new contract starters? We've lost a few recently and the manager just seems to accept their resignation letters without making any attempts to ask them to stay.
