To: Branches with POSTAL Members
Dear Colleagues,
Annual Resourcing Joint Statement
Further to the Summer Resourcing Guidelines which were issued earlier this year, the department has been in discussions with Royal Mail reviewing the feedback from the experiences gained in deploying the Summer plans and discussing how this could be factored into Nationally Agreed Guidelines covering Annual Resourcing.
At this stage talks have not been concluded and there remain a number of outstanding points to be finalised before the documentation can be placed before the Postal Executive for consideration.
However, we have received feedback from Representatives that the documents being discussed have found their way/been released into the field, therefore Representatives should NOT engage with management regarding this issue until we have advised Branches and Representatives otherwise.
Further updates will be issued when they become available.
Any enquiries to Bob Gibson’s Office, quoting reference 230.05
Email address: hnutley@cwu.org
Yours sincerely
Mark Baulch

I can give bob Gibson my feedback of the summer resourcing agreement ,check the sickness levels for stress and wear and tear injurys , a load of s**t as doms are not abiding to it , more pressure on the delivery staff to fight there corner , more b&h off doms to get it done , corrupt figures saying you have the time to do it , and they want an agreement to do more all year
, by the way we started collapsing the 2nd week in jan and still doing it now. what more do you want ? and its something else that favours royal fail as always.
