Royal Mail National talks – The Special Report


The Postal Executive received a report this week on the National talks arising from the carriage of the Special Report unanimously agreed by CWU Branches at the recent Policy Forum.


It was reported to the Postal Executive that at this stage no real progress has been made on the key issues, although further talks are planned next week. The Postal Executive is aware that we committed to report back to Annual Conference on these matters and has agreed that this will be done via an Emergency Motion to the Royal Mail Letters Conference. The content of the Motion will be determined by the outcome of next week’s talks.
