Branches will wish to know that arrangements have been made to hold the following National Briefing and Policy Forum at:

1.30 p.m. - 5.30 p.m. Briefing
The Briefing will cover the following issues arising from the Postal Services Act:
· Privatisation/Save our Royal Mail Campaign
· Post Office Limited - Industrial Dispute over Pay and the Future of the Crown Office Network
· Regulation/End to End Competition
· Pensions

Special Report National Talks - The Future of Royal Mail Group
Branches and Business Coordinating Committees are entitled to submit one amendment per recommendation. All amendments must be emailed to postalpolicyforum@cwu.org. Please note that no amendments will be accepted which have been sent to any other email address.

· Territorial Technical Services Representatives
· Parcelforce Regional Organisers
· All Royal Mail Area Representatives (Delivery, Processing, Distribution, Admin and Engineers)
· Fleet and Maintenance Service Representatives
· Area Health and Safety
Note: In addition to the above attendees and building upon the Local Representatives' Briefings, we are requesting that Branches send three Unit Representatives to the Briefing and Policy Forum.
Wherever possible Branches should ensure that one attendee is a woman.

Royal Mail Group and POL have been informed of the National Briefing and Policy Forum.
Travel and subsistence costs associated with attendance at the Briefing and Policy Forum will be in line with the instructions and advice in issued in LTB 506/04.
