Network 13

During recent meetings with Network management they expressed their desire to commence preparations for a Network 13 efficiency revision.

Colleagues will recall that as part of the BT Agreement we were committed to Network 10, 11 and 12 revisions which were all linked to pay and reward arrangements. These were all concluded in keeping with the mutual interest approach and benefits were achieved by both the business and employees alike.

At the moment there is no agreement for future pay and reward and mutual interest benefits, so we have informed the business that until those issues are resolved we will not be co-operating with a Network 13 revision. We have also made it clear that if the pay and reward issue is resolved then we would expect any Network revision to be carried out in keeping with the agreed process which has served us well for the last three revisions.

Against that backdrop and to be clear, it has not been agreed to commence a Network 13 revision and there should be no co-operation with any activity to commence such a process.
