WCM Deployment In Network VOC’s

The business recently informed the department that they intended to roll out WCM in Network VOC’s. Representation has been made in regard to the lack of consultation with the Union and at the time of issuing this LTB we are awaiting a response from the business.

Section 7 of the World Class Mail National Agreement committed the business to full consultation on the deployment of WCM in areas where the concept was still being developed, including for Network drivers. We can confirm that no such discussions have taken place at this stage.

We are now receiving reports that attempts are being made to deploy this initiative.

Therefore Branches and representatives are advised that there is currently no agreement for the deployment of WCM in Network VOC’s and until formal discussions have taken place and all issues in regard its introduction are resolved, the department’s advice is that you should not co-operate with or give agreement to the deployment of WCM in Network VOC’s.
