Dear Colleague


ADOPTIVE LEAVE – ROYAL MAIL


Following a recent Branch enquiry concerning Adoptive Leave and in particular the issue of different entitlements for women who take Maternity leave or Adoptive leave. We would like to remind all branches of the current policy.


Royal Mail Group altered their policy in 2006 following CWU Headquarters successfully pursuing a stage 3 grievance. Although the recent enquiry has been successful following the submission of a grievance, this LTB is to draw attention to all Branches that the Royal Mail policy gives equality for individuals who either take maternity leave or adoptive leave.
