We can advise Branches that the Postal Executive will be meeting tomorrow along with our Senior Field Officials to discuss our next steps following our overwhelming 'yes' vote. Following that meeting we will be communicating, this week, direct to members' home addresses to explain the Union's position.
In the meantime, it is important that Branches maintain discipline and continue to engage members in the workplace on all the issues involved in the dispute.
It remains our intention to consult with Branches and members on the most effective type of action should this become necessary.
Despite Royal Mail's stated public position we are continuing to explore ways of achieving a negotiated settlement.
Further information will circulated to Branches in due course.
Any enquiries on the above LTB should be addresses to the Deputy General Secretary quoting reference number 60000.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
