DAVE EDMONDS – FORMER POSTAL PERSONAL ASSISTANT OUTDOOR
It is with sadness that I write to inform you that Dave Edmonds, former Postal Personal Assistant Outdoor, passed away peacefully on the 15th June.
Dave joined the then UPW on commencing employment with the GPO in 1961.
In early 1980 Dave was appointed Personal Assistant to the Postal Assistant Secretary Outdoor and retired in January 1994 after 13 years serving four National officers.
At this sad time our thoughts are of course with Dave’s family and friends and on behalf of the CWU, I wish to convey our deepest sympathy and condolences.
We will forward details of Dave’s funeral arrangements in due course.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
