Does anybody have an idea of any agreement for the move?
Will we get any sort of payment? Will we be able to claim travelling expenses as the DO we will be moving to is about 20 miles round trip per day from our current SPDO? How will they expect us to travel back to/from our walks to start delivery if still only 1 person per van?
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
Do you have access to the list? I would like to see it.

I worked in a SPDO It was joke! went to a 'proper' delivery office and never looked back.
No locker at SPDO so you would have to write up all surcharge cards by hand, book in your own packets include scanning them in.
Not big enough for yorks so everything had to be carted in by tray from outside.
No parking because there wasn't a car park.
Ringing the satellite office to sort anything because for the first 3 years was no dedicated manager.
No canteen just a kettle on desk I could go on it was shi*.

My advice to you is to fight against the move as hard as you can, you will most likely be unlucky but at least you will have more chance of your 'Aspirations' being met. I wish i could say the same for our office which with just a week to go is in turmoil; stress, anxiety and sleepless nights all round. We've been well and truly played and to think it was our own Union who put us on the list against our own wishes.TheoF95 wrote: ↑06 Mar 2021, 19:04stoneybroke wrote: ↑18 Jul 2020, 15:57Our SPDO is on the list of closures and we've been told to expect it within the next 2/3 months.

I put in for VR which is a tickable box on the aspiration form and made it the only option i was interested in as the relocation was too disruptive for me. For 5 months i was informed that i was pretty much nailed on to get it and now with just a week to go they have told me that i'm not having it!
