I must be missing something as there is no mention of the workload/B&H problems in deliveries ... or has that been separated from the agreement?

Hold on a min yes we are getting the carrot and xmas bonus and back pay all of which we have earn t ,5 years protection is excellent no one can be disappointed with that !!
As for the rest id like it explained in simpler terms ,lets look at the positives not just the negatives ,and yes i am in delivery

Agree, It's not bad tbh.

So, This £200 is for what? Privatization? Along with the £200 for xmas.. It's not bad really.

Will the backdated pay (3%) be on the hours you've worked since April 1st '13, Or your contracted hours only?

could this be part of it
"· A National joint review of delivery facilitated by ACAS that will enable us to address the concerns of delivery employees over the managerial approach to workload issues. Additionally, this will consider finding mutually beneficial ways to tackle the increasing variability of workload in the future. "

Anybody with half a brain could see that the "overarching" objective of these negotiations was to delay any necessity for IA until after Christmas, as for the £300 becoming £200 - well that pays for the extra 0.4% in the first year.

So exactly how has this agreement changed in order to delay it so long and what has been the concessions made in the last 7 weeks to cause the delay - 0.4% that we are actually funding?

I notice too that the full amount of the 0.4% increase is shown but isn't graduated "pro-rata" which to an office of 60/40s, 50/50s means diddly squat in financial terms especially considering a third of members are now part time.

Apart from monetary values I see nothing to commend what I've read so far and hopefully people will see further than the initial bribe and realise that the negative terms of the agreement far outweigh the money.

This agreement reminds me a little of Faust!

Superficially, and without having read any references to B and H, it sounds pretty good. The only worry for me is the scope of the "exceptional circumstances" that could give RM cause to wriggle out the binding agreement. Sounds a bit vague, are they the same exceptional circumstances in a previous agreement that managers use to get people to work for free?

2.7.8 The review due in October 2013 of the changes to the Managing the Surplus Framework terms referred to in paragraph 2.3 of the Job Security, Resourcing and Managing Change Agreement has been undertaken, the current terms have now been further extended and the next review will be in January 2015. In undertaking this review, the terms of the Managing the Surplus Framework shall not be subject to the legally binding undertaking in paragraph 2.6.

So, MTSF safe for another year or so?

By and large it looks pretty good (although I've only skimmed through it because I've just got back off delivery and need at least 2 cups of tea before I do anything). Slightly worried by the section that states that any national industrial action will lead to the removal of the legal protections though.

What if management have one view and we have another.............. oh yes, that's already happening!

So review the revision's and tell us everything is dandy and get on with it!! Oh well, kind of got used to fighting my own corner.

Employee incentive arrangement....... if you don't want s**t from your DOM and Lino, don't cut off!! Many at my office already on this incentive. :arrrghhh

Quick question which may seem daft

If it gets voted against will they want the extra £200 back

Also for ft staff roughly how much is the back pay worth.
