Well if you did not treat the people who grew the business like s**t and are so gutless to tell them face to face what the hell do you expect.
As consumers we should not use this social media platform as it is the excesses of capitalism in all its forms.
Lessons could be learnt from this fiasco but those with power and money are the least educated and respected in terms of dealing with humanity in a dignified way!

A private company cannot censor free speech only governments can. This is a very common misunderstanding.
It's like arguing that you have the right to wear whatever you like therefore by extrapolation you have the right to wear your PJs to a Michelin star restaurant.

Judging by the way advertisers are abandoning Twitter in their droves it is the lack of moderation and its subsequent toxicity that seems to be the problem.

Too many people getting away with saying exactly what they want from online abuse and rape threats to racism, anti-semitism and xenophobia and general lies and misinformation are Twitter's problems and the fact that major companies just don't want their brand associated with that s**t.

2 The exercise of these freedoms, since it carries with it duties and responsibilities, may be subject to such formalities, conditions, restrictions or penalties as are prescribed by law and are necessary in a democratic society, in the interests of national security, territorial integrity or public safety, for the prevention of disorder or crime, for the protection of health or morals, for the protection of the reputation or rights of others, for preventing the disclosure of information received in confidence, or for maintaining the authority and impartiality of the judiciary.

You are free if you wish to move to the US but you can't impose their laws onto the rest of us just because you want to rant on Twitter.
