Let them eat Turnips and work 100 hour weeks.
Well Environment Secretary Therese Coffey says we can all live on turnips? here: https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/ ... h-29292422 and that we should all work harder and longer here: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... hours.html Well it is good coming from someone who does 3 days a week and gets £84,000 plus expences lots of expences and also a cabinet job ie so another £48,000 on top for being a minister of state. And it is good to note that the cost of living crisis of which she has such good experiance of is their for all of us with useful advice and lectures of why we are all now poorer under the conservative govenment and how to mitigate this. Well heres my advice dont vote Conservative because they blame us all while raking in the money off the energy companies that rob us day in day out, This is not just a cost of living crisis but a cost of morality crisis 234 years ago Marie Antoinette said supossedly LET THEM EAT CAKE Now we get LET THEM EAT TURNIPS!

Always the same old shite from people like her.
Those that do the least and get the most, want those that do the most but get the least, to make do and mend.

A few on here will probably say she has a valid point
“Shorts,in this weather?!”
“If they’re bills I don’t want ‘em!”
“What’s she been ordering now?”

You're quite right if you don't want to see these morally corrupt parasites in power vote for someone else. The recent Liz Truss fiasco where she actually cut taxes for Big Industry and the Rich, during a cost of Living Crisis, was just bizarre.

There are going to be a lot of glum people on here after Labour win the next election and realise that they are no different to the Tories.

There is no solution at this current time so long as people believe that there is a difference between the Parties.Woody Guthrie wrote: ↑24 Feb 2023, 10:49So you in a country with me only two parties with any realistic access to the power to do anything constructive whats your solution?

At the next election you will have the choice of voting for a Globalist millionaire, one Globalist millionaire wears a blue rosette and the other one wears a red one.

What is a globalist? I know it's Farage's latest buzzword, but what does it actually mean? I'm sure he was shouting to the roof about how Britain needed to go global not so long ago. It was one of the corner stones of the Brexit argument, if I recall correctly.milly wrote: ↑24 Feb 2023, 10:54There is no solution at this current time so long as people believe that there is a difference between the Parties.Woody Guthrie wrote: ↑24 Feb 2023, 10:49So you in a country with me only two parties with any realistic access to the power to do anything constructive whats your solution?

Globalists want the Centralisation of power mainly through unelected bodies such as the Trilateral Commission, WEF IMF,WHO,BIS etc.Seymour Buts wrote: ↑24 Feb 2023, 12:07What is a globalist? It was great to see Tony Blair and William Hague doing a joint interview this week regarding Digital I.Ds.

Digital ID'S are another conspiracy theory that those tinfoil hat wearing imbeciles keep talking about.
Next you'll be saying that they will be bringing out programmable CBDC's and Climate lockdowns, sorry I mean 15 minute Cities.

This is one of the defining features of the pseado-intellectual.
The arrogant belief that only they and their like minded friends can see the real picture.
Has it ever occurred to you that since most of the population are infact politically if not morally right of centre they actually know that there isn't much between the two parties and like it that way.
I know it's a strange thought but why do you think we've had Tory governments for the majority of our lives?
If your assertions are true and people are really desperate for something different that fact wouldn't be a fact would it?
Or do we just go down the well trodden route that people are just dumb and controlled by a right wing media conspiracy?

I said there are no differences between the main Parties as they pretty much agree on everything, this isn't a controversial opinion.
