I've never really been that big into Tangerine Dream, but I've been getting into their latest album Quantum Gate a bit. I find this track interesting in that it seems to combine multiple electronic influences. Also this is the only track on the album that doesn't credit Edgar Froese - who was the founder and main influence for the band - as he died in 2015. All other tracks on the album reference and credit his ideas.

Tangerine Dream - It is Time to Leave When Everyone is Dancing (2017)

Huge T-Dream fan from way back. I was more into their classic period when the lineup consisted of Froese, Christopher Franke (whom I saw perform solo in London years ago), and Peter Baumann.

I thought I was going to see The Automatics supporting The Clash but it turned out to be The Coventry Automatics who then changed their name to The Specials.
