It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Chrome error when posting, logging on?
Hmmm. Just thought I'd try this out.
Not sure if it's a different set up from the other web forums, but when I select "Hide my online status this session" I would expect my name not to appear in the Who Is Online list. And the blue diagonal Online banner not to show next to my comments.
But while I'm "Hidden", my name is still listed and the online banner shows.
Interesting.

The option to hide is turned off, weird that it shows the button tho.

Ah, that explains it. As for the checkbox still showing on the login screen, I guess it needs a bit of advanced tweaking. Maybe with the right HTML template file that contains a UCP.
Perhaps in the...

Some of people's post count will be from the old canteen forumPostmanBitesDog wrote: ↑28 Sep 2021, 17:42This is handy. I like it. Although I don't think it tallies up the number and percentage of posts from the Canteen subforum.

Incorrect. When the canteen disappeared my post count went down by about 10 000.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑28 Sep 2021, 19:28

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: Chrome error when posting, logging on?
I wonder how long it takes for a private message to leave the Outbox? I've got one that's been sitting in my Outbox for a while now, even though there's a note above it saying it was sent.
Hmmm...
Is it because the recipient is yet to open it and read it?

Re: Chrome error when posting, logging on?
Yeah, I think that's the case. It won't actually get 'sent' until the person is active on the site. I'm not sure if they actually have to open it or not.PostmanBitesDog wrote: ↑12 Dec 2021, 22:00I wonder how long it takes for a private message to leave the Outbox? Ah, I thought that'd be the case. I'm more of an Invision man than a phpBB one.
Something else I've noticed that's been taking a while to complete: My laundry. Washing machine shows 16 minutes remaining of the wash cycle.
Why does the world hate me so much!?!!!1111ONEONE
