Messages of thanks to key workers are being painted on roads across Bury.
The markings intend to pay tribute to those working in health and social care, public transport, the emergency services and other workers who are keeping the borough going through the Covid-19 pandemic.
Council workers are printing the rainbow logos and ‘thank you’ messages at ten locations across the borough, near to where those important staff work.
Work has now started and should be completed on Friday.

The locations are:
Manchester Road, Whitefield – near the junction of Cross Street (near Whitefield Fire Station and Morrisons)
Bolton Road, Bury – at the junction with Ainsworth Road (near Cameron House care home and the Royal Mail sorting office)
Rochdale Old Road, Bury - outside Fairfield Hospital
