New reported Covid cases and hospitalisations have begun to surge once again in England
Royal Mail PLC said it will prioritise Covid test kits during strikes this month as cases surge once again.
Communication Workers Union (CWU) members employed by Royal Mail will be striking on the 13, 20, and 25 October as well as 28 November.
In a statement, the postal service said it will “prioritise the delivery of Covid test kits and medical prescriptions wherever possible” on the day of the strikes.
Newly reported Covid cases and hospitalisations have begun to surge once again in England.
In the seven days up to and including 24 September, there were 12,106 newly reported cases, an increase of 42%, official government figures show.
Hospitalisations were up 47% in the week up to including 26 September, an increase of nearly 2,000 people.
Yesterday, Royal Mail confirmed its name change to International Distributions Services, which will represent the listed holding company.
Royal Mail will remain the name for its UK letters and parcel business.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Last time they did not need to do that, The CWU called off IA so as to look good to the public. Well that didn't go too well did it!. Gave huge profits to the company while we risked our lives and now they treat us with utter contempt.
If they try that BS again we will be well and truly screwed.

Good grief!
Are people still banging on about a supposed virus the government were telling people in 2020 to act as if they had it, even though what they had seemed no worse than a cold, or flu?

Hypochondriac losers, still getting their "free" test kits because they're addicted to biscuits and loose women.

Royal Mail already prioritises Covid test kits because they are Tracked.
’You can't just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new.’

Royal mail doesn't prioritise anything, when they say WE, they mean the posties, the ones that actually do the work, not take the profits sat on their fat lard ar**s.
