Regarding pay when being pinged on the NHS app due to being in contact

Please merge or link mods as im sure this has been asked a lot but I cant find any links.
If we get pinged by the NHS track and trace is it a 14 day isolation and are they paying or is it SSP?

Yes 14 day self isolation fully paid as long as you haven't used up your allocation of 6 months full pay over a four year rolling period. It goes down as sickness although does not apply towards sickness procedure. Hope you keep well n safe

If you are pinged by the app , do you have to get a test or can you just self isolate for 14 days .i ask this because in discussion at work my manager has said you need to get a test straight away . He obviously saying this so you are back at work as soon as possible.

He's misinformed,you must self isolate for 14 days,you only get a test if you have symptoms hope this helps

If you have symptoms or have to isolate due to being pinged do you still get the xmas bonus even if its anytime before xmas?
