I was off sick with coronavirus for 3 weeks. I had all the self isolation notes for this period. During this 3 weeks I had 1 weeks leave which I’d booked previously. Can I claim the weeks leave back or is it just gone for good? I know if I ask the manager this question he will just say “tough s**t you’ve lost that week now”. I asked rep and he says he’s not sure. Anyone help.

No. 3 weeks of self isolation notes though. They said I didn’t need doctors note if I had these.

The business steer is that any annual leave that is due to take place during shielding would still be taken
So in their eyes yes, you've used it even though you were shielding, so it's gone.

I wasn’t shielding though I was actually off sick with it. At the time back in April the government were advising not to see doctor but to get a self isolating note. I have 3 weeks of these. One of which was from the period that I was on leave.
