First "No letters Saturday". - 2nd or 9th?

Can’t seem to get a definitive answer to this

Rico’s letter said the 6 weeks would end on 13th June which would in my mind make the 9th the first Saturday of no mail but many on here are saying it’s tomorrow.

Which is it?

2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, 6th... That's six weeks

If it started week commencing 4th May then it would end week ending June 13th though

And he said it ends on the 13th not the 6th which would to me mean inclusive of the 13th making the 9th the first no Mail Saturday

See what you are saying Acca it appears, the "6" weeks may be "7" Saturdays. However the positive is this is a reduction from 6 months as originally planned. Fortnightly the temporary change will be reviewed. Also in the letter to D Ward T Pullinger from Rico Back (Edit) "... the company can confirm that they have made no decision to support the reduction of the six day USO in future."
Also Importantly;
"Any changes to these duty structures will be voluntary and must be agreed locally, utilising the IR Framework"

Sorry, this thread wasnt meant to be a moan about how many Saturdays we are going to be doing this - moreso just wondering what awaits me tomorrow as a PT non driver who works remotely

I know what you mean ACCA but it starts Saturday 2nd not week commencing 4th so it resumes on Saturday 13th

Turn up on your start time, on the days you are due to work. Go home at your finish time. Do whatever work you are asked to do (if it is safe).

Doubtful. It was mentioned in another thread that an office with CSS machines (din't mention whether an MC or MPU) won't be running their CSS machines tonight so if it does get sent out, it'll all be manual

heard in our office letters will still arrive this saturday and next, thereafter only packets until further notice, so we were told mail will be prepped
as normal for the first 2 saturdays of this change

sorry for the first 2 saturdays although we are prepping the mail ,it will still only be packets out for delivery, although tempted to take some main door parts out , can imagine this added to mondays will be a heavy part of my delivery

Could you point out where Royal Mail says that it was originally planned for 6 months.

Maybe it's just me but I'm struggling to find that.
