Late hours on delivery - do we get paid more?

Post by Pancake123 »

In my office most of people coming to work early morning ,but there are some guys coming about 12 o clock, going out on delivery about 2 and come back around 7 or 8 in the evening. I do understand the current situation with Coronavirus , we have to be a little flexible now,but what about pay ? Should we get extra £££ for evening hours?

No, why should we?

7-8 at night is no more unsociable than 6-7 in the morning.

If that's the case, shouldn't we all be rota'd so that we all do our equal share of late afternoon/evenings v's early mornings/afternoon's if they are deemed equally 'sociable' hrs.... :hmmmm (thought not) I would suggest 7-8pm is a billion times more 'unsociable' than 6-7am

I'm sure Rico Back and his cronies are conjuring up a change to contractual hours when the 'old' guard is finally dismantled and 'a new breed' of posties are in place.
