Aye, that's probably the case in many places. We've only 3 or 4 out of about 48 off in our office, but I'm expecting people across the business to drop off like flies over the next few weeks...aiden01 wrote:Is there many of us left think there is more agency an casuals than opgs at this time.ssdd wrote:No. If we could, there wouldn't be many of us left!

You can have time off, but I don't think you'll get 80% wage. That's only for furloughed workers. Unless they've changed something again? There's another thread about this!Chelseablue wrote:If you feel at risk you can

Royal Mail aren’t losing much if they let their employees have furlough due to no childcare or being vulnerable due to health conditions. They need to step up

Wasn’t the scheme introduced for businesses that had to shut and had no income? Royal Mail are open for business and certainly in my office no visible drop in mail volume so not a chance of them being able to claim this from the government.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
