Caring for family at home

I'm so worried and in tears as I write this. I don't know where to turn for official help. David decided that to keep me safe from the Corona virus that we should self isolate (which we have done since 18th March). I have severe Asthma and am a type 1 diabetic and have been having injections since diagnosis 45 years ago which is when I got Asthma too, I also have severe depression and narrowing of the spine which makes my mobility a problem and have to use a wheelchair for a majority of the time. My diabetes is not very well controlled due to the amount of colds I get and medications that I take, my blood glucose varies from 2.5 to over 30 which isn't good. I'm not looking for sympathy or anything like that but I am scared of contracting this virus which would make me very ill or even kill me (like many other people worldwide).

David has underlying health issues too which are treated with tablets (type 2 diabetes and thyroid problems).

David works at Royal Mail as a postman which involves working in an office with less than a metre between him and his colleagues at times, then outside into the public to do his rounds with no gloves and no sterile hand wash/wipes.

The manager at Royal Mail has told David that they will not be paying him and that he will have to use his next years (2021) leave pay now, which is what he has done up to now but this is not a good idea as a year without leave is not healthy for anyone.

David is thinking that he will need to go back to work on Friday unless something covering the situation we are in financially workable. If he goes back to work I may as well have a death sentence over my head.

We both suffer with Stress and Depression and being in this situation is messing with our heads.

Where is the care and compassion? Why are postman supposedly immune to this virus just because they work in this environment and how come its ok for Royal Mail to ignore the Prime Ministers Rules?

If anyone knows where I can find out where I stand with this situation please please tell me,

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post.
