From 4am Monday 4 October 2021, the rules for international travel to England will change.
Postal workers
Before travel to England
Before you travel to England you need to:
take a COVID-19 test
book tests to take after you arrive in England
complete the passenger locator form
After arrival in England
Green list countries
Applies if you have only been in a green list country in the 10 days before you arrive in England.
You must take a COVID-19 test on day 2 or earlier after you arrive, if you intend to stay in England for 2 days or longer.
Amber list countries
Applies if you been in an amber list country, but not a red list country, in the 10 days before you arrive in England.
You do not need to quarantine.
You need to take a COVID-19 test on day 2 and day 8 after arrival in the UK, if you are still in the country.
Fully vaccinated – amber list – if you are fully vaccinated under an approved vaccination programme you do not need to quarantine or take a COVID-19 test on day 8.
Red list countries
Applies if you have been in a red list country in the 10 days before you arrive in England.
You need to quarantine in a government approved hotel and take a COVID-19 test on day 2 and day 8.
Evidence
At the border, you will need to show a letter from your company which includes:
your personal details, such as name and address
contact details for your employer
what work you’ll be doing
If your employer issued you with photo identification, you should bring this with you to the UK.
Applies to:

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
