Covid test delivery

Anyone been approached about working sundays in the near future regarding Covid test kits,know some people are already doing this, but beleive this is a new initiative on a much larger scale ,not been asked personally just hearsay .

We've been delivering and collecting on a Sunday since November, we get between 100-200.

Yep same at our office,but goverment looking at supplying all firms with over 50 employees with lateral flow testsand think this might have something to do with this,any union bods have any info ?

Royal Mail won a new mega contract which started in Dec to provide the logistic / delivery of Covid-19 text kits that used to be delivered by courier.

The test kits arrive in Mail Centres and are distributed to all local delivery offices for delivery on a 7 day operation.

'Certain' people in my office were asked to work sunday. Most of us weren't asked nor were we given any info about why. So it could have been for covid kits but I thought that was already happening.

seem like i was on to something,story in THE TIMES today saying we will be asked to delivery a few million lateral flow tests ,rising to possibly 75 million per week from April.

Think they are doing it from an office near us on SA, what rate does SA even pay now?. It’s a long time since I did any SA duty’s.
