Agreed, the Neoliberal ideology is rubbish all round. Problem is that it's less rubbish than any other system yet tried or proposed.
Don't quite see how the "profit motive" is connected to, or a way of dealing with issues as diverse as climate change, antibiotic resistances etc, or even how some ideology that isn't Neoliberal would deal with them any better or more successfully.
Is this the Corbynistic tactic of lumping all the "bad stuff" together and simplistically blaming "the Capitalists"?

I dunno, maybe I'm just a capitalist pig. A bad one, mind. Always skint. :hmmmm
Why limit it to 80% of earnings upto £2500 per month? Surely by your thinking that is not fair on the people who are used to earning considerably more than that.

Boring response really. That all you got?
Jesus, I cannot believe what some people actually believe. That's all you need, because it's true ffs. I bet you are a SUN reader or some other Murdoch trash.

Surely that's more fair than paying twiddledumb's plumber mate the same as the person a few streets over who works 16 hours at minimum wage?

What they were paying in tax already has been spent. They are not paying anything in tax now, we are, so you, the below average wage postie are paying to keep these non workers to sit at home playing xbox and make more money than you doing it spending your tax money to buy crap on amazon for you to deliver to them. If you are ok with that, then I guess you know your place. I bet you look to the ground every time you see someone who earns more than you "yes sir, thank you sir, go out to work in a pandemic while you sit at home and get more benefits than me sir? oh yes sir, my honour sir" etc etc.
