It was a rhetorical question not a statement.

Well then the answer is that we are in a pandemic and this virus is quite deadly to old and vulnerable people. That might not be you but no responsible government should just allow a pandemic to take hold and spread without taking actions to try and curb it.

Agreed why did they not invest in the NHS and train more nurses and have a proper test and trace system instead of jobs for the incompetent Dido Harding and her ilk, And paying people a proper wage for doing the right thing and total self isolation even build more hospitals well China built one in a week yet building one and having no staff is pointless!

I mean just think of how many people right now have not got the test and trace app. Now how many of those should be isolating right now as a percaution as they been near someone with covid?

How many deaths could be avoided if people accepted to use it. This whole covid thing has just made it clear people don't care until its too late.

I think the biggest problem is the government they wanted total control of all the laboratories and of an app while other nations were using goggle and apple apps to notify people but our government wanted their own bespoke system. The biggest problem was this corrupt government wanted to give the testing and tracing and ppe to private companies like secro and others that have no experience in any of this, when the NHS and local councils could do it so much better and efficiently. Why? because the people running these companies are either tory donors, or related to tory MPs/cabinet ministers. It's a scandal that our taxes are being shoved into private companies that constantly fail without contracts being tendered. An even bigger scandal is the BBC and other MSM do not report it, only the Guardian and open democracy report it. The government are getting taken to court because of this in you face corruption. Read the articles in the link, it shows just how bad this lot are.

My opinion is that it's nether the deadliest virus that we have encountered or a conspiracy.
I think the reason for the confusion regarding official advice is due to scientist not really being 100% sure about what they are dealing with.
I also think that the conspiracy idea is because there are people/companies possibly using the pandemic to further their own agendas. It may well have become a conspiracy with these same people/ companies controlling the media and funding most of the covid research.

I concur with you people on here don't get that I need to provoke conversation and put things out to make a debate of things till people realize this about things provocation is the instigator of human thought!

Lots of people would have to buy new phones to download the test and trace app as you needed ios13.7.
Does this company send any staff home when someone they work with tests positive ?

True, but still a vast majority should be able to install the app.
