i'd also add that i don't trust this company 1 bit, and after 4 weeks of the 6 have gone and hopefully we're starting to really get over this virus then our union leaders need to be proactive and start pushing hard, we are always reacting and i guarantee they will start trying it on too

God pity the day an irishman or woman ever takes the job..GRS wrote:It actually does matter, the same as it mattered when they parachuted in Greene from Canada. The Royal Mail is a Great British Institute and regardless of what people have heard in recent times it is something that the nation holds close to its heart. Bringing in foreigners who have no understanding of how the business has embedded itself into British history over the last 500 years and how it operates amongst our communities is exactly by we find ourselves in the current mess, a mess created over the last 8 or so years since these two got their grubby mitts on it. Just because their nationality is brought up you snowflakes don’t need to scream racism at every opportunity.aiden01 wrote:Good lord why the f--k does it matter where he comes from???bishopoflove wrote:Excellent statement by the union putting the horrible little GERMAN in his place.

Sometimes it really concerns me that I may be actually working with some of the half wits on this forum and royal mail actually let them out In to the community
I know let's firmly knock on the head any comment about people's nationality or any other racist comments it's just not the done thing and not cool

Agreed. If anyone seriously thinks a British CEO would be any better just by virtue of being British then they should consider Ernie Saunders, Philip Greene, Rebekah Brooks, etc and think again.Post69 wrote: let's firmly knock on the head any comment about people's nationality or any other racist comments it's just not the done thing and not cool![]()

Not at all. A totally fictional scenario concocted in their heads based on an unknown and unrealistic xenophobic response. What if the next CEO is Latvian, Portuguese, French etcWoody Guthrie wrote:Subjective.Ren Hoëk wrote:tedious none the lessWoody Guthrie wrote:The point was he meant an Irish man or an Irish woman.

You got the written part right, but legally binding? I cannot see anything legally binding unless you think Rico's words are legally binding. Unless you can show me where it is legally binding I wouldn't trust a word Rico back says TBH.Gasman11 wrote:That's because they have written, legally binding confirmation that this new strategy will only be a temporary arrangement because of the effects of the pandemic and duties won't change without your consent.
