Yorkshire van share trial?
Might sound a strange question, but what's the deal with people using busses/trains to get to first delivery point? Are they volunteering to do that? Are they being asked or instructed to? Is there paperwork involved like using OMV's?

I'd give people the benefit of the doubt and not think they all want van share to return. What they want is a change to this bodged together 'temporary' way of working. In my view, it's not simply a case of going from van sharing, to not, then back again.mags999 wrote:what are the consequences if you refuse to van share for at least the next 3 to 6 months probably nothing seems to be a an agenda with some on here to get van sharing back why i dont know
Companies the world over are (at least to the viewing public) making their workplaces/practices covid safe either now, or going forward, so what makes RM any different. What they decide on doing to achieve this isn't going to be popular in my view.

We've heard nothing about Van Sharing.
Recently we've all been reminded not to slack off on the Social Distancing as Covid HAS NOT gone away despite what all the morons that have started Clubbing it & Going On Foreign Holidays think.
In a way I think it's been beneficial working through this Virus. Although I'm not being conplacent about it, I feel confident that I'm following all the guidelines. We're working for the most part in the fresh air, and at a distance from the public. The Indoor Element is very much in our own hands. If your Office has followed the relevant instuctions on physical distancing (which they should have done) i.e moving frames apart, only using ever other IPS position, staggering start times to limit the number of staff etc then it's very much down to you to make sure you Social Distance..... and of course Don't Forget to Wash your Hands!

The most important part is DO NOT COME IN IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19 at least we get paid for it which helps.Dorset Plodder wrote:We've heard nothing about Van Sharing.Recently we've all been reminded not to slack off on the Social Distancing as Covid HAS NOT gone away despite what all the morons that have started Clubbing it & Going On Foreign Holidays think.
