Our Rep was surrounded by a group of the "Runners" asking IF they had to do this ... Did they have to do that ... It was Busy they didn't have time ... They were going to be late out ... You know the scenario.
He had to explain just that point: Resonable Requests from Management, Work as Instructed and You're Expected to WORK all your contracted hours. The whingeing continued until they'd all left the office with parting shots of, "I'm going to be going over .... I'll be bringing back loads .... I'm NOT going to be going over my time"!
Guess what? They all somehow managed to still finish early, didn't cut off and didn't bring anything back. I was well impressed.
