What about this proposed change between shifts then? Is there a decontamination process happening there?
Also, if people are driving to and from work in their own car it's going to be potentially contaminated anyway.

We've been told if you pay for business cover they will reimburse it. You can then follow partner out and move car round the delivery. Not taking any mail in you car
Expect Royal Mail to be run by a shower of incompetents who couldn't run a bath, let alone a 4th emergency service in a time of crisis.
Don't forget your lapsing and your dentures D2D.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
use your own car tell them to run up your ribs its a disgrace this is not your problem they should not be asking anyone to use there own car ......you will be playing in to rm hands.....you have not got the right insurance to cover it have a crash you will not be covered .... think dont be stupid

they might say they will put you on an insurance bond through rm it is only 3rd party (fire and theft) have an accident you pay for it yourself whether blame lies with other person or not
rm trying their luck
the proposals from cwu and rm coronavirus update clearly states
NO CARS ON DELIVERY
While they may be saying that no mail would ever be in your car, would they tell this to every potential thief out there? Whoopee you have business cover so if there is an accident you will be covered, great. But how about returning to you car to find windows smashed as someone saw you getting out of it and going on delivery, so assumed there may be mail in the car while you were gone.
Absolute madness on so many levels, if the CWU have actually agreed to this they might as well give up on every issue they have with the company.
Royal Mail
failing the workforce, failing the public and deliberately failing mail on a daily basis for too many years.
