Nice to have such supportive bosses during this difficult time

I woke up the other morning feeling absolutely brutal. I felt so lethargic I was sitting down in the shower. Got ready for work and was lying on the couch debating on whether to phone in when my wife came through and took my temperature. I had a high temperature. I phoned my boss and he outright says he doesn't believe me. The leading health authority in the country says we have to take 7 days off and he's acting like that. We all know they don't give a toss about us but I would have thought during a global pandemic he might be a bit more understanding. Guess I was wrong. All they care about is the mail getting out the door. Now i'm sat at home feeling awful and have to worry about being bullied by my manager as well.

Stay home. This virus is not flu, it kills.

Whatever your manager says, DO NOT GO INTO WORK.

Stay home, look after you and yours, and get well soon.

Flu does kill and this is a type of flu.

And flu actually kills many many more worldwide than cv19 has. Just something to bear in mind.
