I've been thinking similar Mark. They say soap and water is more effective than hand sanitiser. The only issue is in the dispensing of them. The soap would be fine, but how would you effectively dispense the water with soap covered hands? Foot pump? You do get hand pumps that fit onto the gallon size water bottles, but again, would this be practical?Mark_F wrote:Might be a strange thought, but it may be an idea if they didn't focus on hand sanitiser so much (by all means get it for us), but we could be supplied soap and a big bottle of water instead (which could be easier to source, would be more effective, and probably safer given what hand sanitiser does to your skin when you overuse).
We still need disninfectant wipes ASAP, and masks would be helpful if they become possible to obtain.
The only other way I could see it working would be to have two containers that you could dispense the water into. One for your soapy wash, and the other to rinse.
For those on delivery, hand sanitiser would still be the most convenient solution.
