It's about minimising risk the best we can, of course it's not 100% certain that we're not going to be passing germs around in other ways but this is something we can actually do, requires little to no effort and it may just be effective in some instances.

The logic of some of my colleagues and the country as a whole is just baffling. Do absolutely everything you can to maintain excellent hygiene through all parts of your day. You're not going to be perfect but what kind of excuse is that for not doing the very best you can?

The NHS is gonna crumble over this, any steps we can take to minimise it should be done.

I agree but once it is community wide and it is we can only delay the inevitable but our NHS is woeful in funding as compared to the other countries I suspect more will die here than every other EU country put together but cash is king as someone once said!

You could down the chimney and sweep it as well.
