Completely screwed up getting the place ready for an update so you'll have to bear with it for a while, possibly for the rest of the night.
No idea how it happened. Forum permissions seem to have a mind of their own.

We are updated and we are now 100% responsive which should be a big thing especially for you mobile users, but prepping the board for the update I have somehow completely screwed it up. As you can see on the forums index.

Would suggest for the time being to use the active topics link https://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/communi ... ive_topics which is under quick links at the top left of the forum.

We have no attachments on the site for now, so any pics, downloads etc will not work, I will update you when that is fixed, I have turned the upload feature off for the time being, gis a couple of days as there are over 10,000 to re-upload.

The canteen was accidentally deleted, there may be a way to get most of the big threads back but I will try to sort that soonish.

I'm f****d off with it all, should of been an easy process which tbf it was the update that is but I screwed it before I even got started.

Any errors you encounter please post in here or PM me.

Profiles back on the left and announcements and stickies to have their own breaklines in like before I will do soonish. It all looks a bit messy at the mo.

And yes the colours are rank.

Wouldn't call this an error as such but many of the forums are in the wrong locations (forum groupings and what forums are sub-forums of which other forums)

The main problem seems to be with the forum index page. If you go onto the RMC home page you can access most of the forums from there.

A much nicer layout now with this update.

Some interesting changes, too, at least on the mobile version. For instance, the online status feature is snazzy. A blue diagonal bar on the right. I like it.

It happens, but at least we know what caused it.
If you want to access a forum, hit the search bar at the top and enter, say "pensions" and then you will find a thread and you can back track to pensions from there, or Mail centres or whatever takes your fancy. Thanks for all you do.

Ok got the forums back where they should be, will update the colours and so forth as soon as I can, which I actually lost during my mess up.
Also I will put some modifications up as well.
Desktop users have an advantage with the new icons by hovering their mouse over them, mobiles/tablets will be trial and error.
You can use this post to do your testing if you so wish.
I will as soon as I can do a review thingy of the icons and new bits.

Okay, I don't know if it's my system, but it looks like clicking on an URL in a user's comment doesn't pop up a separate browser window as it did in the previous forum version. Pity that.

Guess we'll wait until all the kinks have been ironed out.
