Having only recently joined I just wanted to say how useful and informative this site is. POSTMAN and TrueBlueTerrier you both seem to put in a lot of work and I'm sure everybody appreciates it. The only thing that is slightly disappointing is the fact that you can't swear. The only postman in the country who doesn't swear is the guy who delivers to Albert Square in Walford.

Ahhh but it's open to all, not just posties, including customers of RM. No swearing is a pretty good thing imo ;)

Thanks, very kind of you to say.Me and Teebs(TrueBlueTerrier) we do our bit but there are many more as well who do their bit to make the place as informative as possible.

As for the swearing, you can swear but it's filtered,we have the press on here a lot especially during disputes so filtering them takes the edge off them.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Or you can just swear by using the 3 smilies on this site. although the photo's may not apply.
Be a shame though if our customers just thought we were foulmouthed working class thugs??????

Perhaps you should take time to adjust to the culture on here and see when and what context those smilies are used. Also 60% of your posts since you joined 4 days ago have been complaining about the smilies, I think we understand that you don't like them. :Very Happy

Thanks for taking the time to reserch my comments.
Yes its true that my main issue is with the smilies.
The reason for this is as stated i am a new viewer of this site. but in order to use the post a reply i have to be subjected to the offensive smilies. Not sure why i should get used to the culture (as you say) and yes it is the usual language withing RM.
but I dont think the site should encourage the use of political or personal insults.
As the rules are clear on this!
It is just my opinion. but I feel I should be allowed to express them within this forum.
Hope I hav'nt offended?
