Moderator please....

Post by Indy »

I noticed that a thread I started regarding 'signed for' items for people who didn't understand what to do or were 'afraid' to sign for has.... disappeared.

I'm genuinely saddened that a post to this forum populated with supposeed ADULTS requesting information has had to be pulled because of what I suspect were 'inappropriate' comments from a small minority.... It really does delittle us all!

If that thread is available anywhere to a moderator do they know if somewhere in there it contained an answer to my original question.

If not where can I find out? I've asked locally and got a different answers each time :arrrghhh

Basically would RM hold me somehow liable if I 739'd an item and it subsequently went tits up?
Thanks

Your probably as well asking your DOM in this instance indy.

If i remmeber your thread properly indy, i had the same problem a few months back, in the end i signed for the item and gave the woman concernd the packet. ( i would have felt like a jobsworth doing anything else, and i very much doubt her relatives would complain.)
Told the backshift supervisor when i returned, and he said that was fine.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Did you change the title of the thread as well - because it is offensive?
