possible forum tweaks?

Post by chunk »

I wonder if the moderators of this forum would consider a few simple changes to limit spoiler activity.
Maybe to allow very new members to post but not to start threads.?
id accept a sanction myself( I'm less less than 6 months!) if it helped. but realistically
restricting if only for a few weeks would stop a lot of trolling because an employee will return and gain thread starting privileges.
where as a journalists etc will move on.
also is it possible to spot multiple sign ups from an individual.
will avoid all those controversial threads like" why i like to cross picket lines".
hope your not offended by the input just wondered if anything was possible..
I'm a postman-and i know where you live.....

Certainly not a bad idea

Would stop the multiple threads we get like the DEAL Reached threads I had to keep merging this afternoon.

Mind you some members do post new threads without checking if there is already an appropriate thread, it makes for a very broken debate sometimes.
