It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Posters went up on our notice board this morning and a few went into the collection bags for Chester MC.

It's good to know we're not isolated and we can learn from each other.

I've been telling people at the Mail Centre about rmc. Today one guy came back to me and said that he had registered, but could not work out how to introduce himself, in order to log on. I can't remember how I did it, but obviously I managed to.
Looking at the membership figures it would seem that 2,219 have joined up to date, but there are only 1,894 registered users, which means that 335 have not introduced themselves, in order to become registered users. Is this because some people are finding it difficult to introduce themselves, like my mate?
Could you check this out Postman, and possibly make it easier to introduce yourself.

Posts like these i often step back and just have a good look at the site to see where things could of gone wrong.
Obviously i'm used to it but even when i 1st put it up and posted on a site that uses the same skin it only took me a couple of mins to work out where the buttons are ect.
Some people are just not as message board savvy as others i think at times.
In the welcome pm it states to go to the 'Introduce Yourself' forum (Just below this one) to make a post and open up the board, what i'll do is put the link in so members can go straight there, that should make things easier for some.

Regarding registered users being different to your membership num and out of sinc.
When we get spammers registering like the porn stuff ect and they are deleted the membership number of the next user is carried on.
So deleting say 10 users does not affect the membership num of any of us.
The membership num is a HACK anyway and not standard on these boards,it's just a pain that the numbers arent refreshed when people get deleted.
(Does the above bit makes sense  )

Also thanks for the plugs guys, the more the merrier :Applause
