Re: Structural revision
strange that no one I spoken to seems to know about who's next for revision ! I have heard that Royal Mail realised the stupidity of bringing in a restructure just before xmas & that any revisions that do happen will have to be done by August this year. So they had better hurry up.

Re: Structural revision
Looking around my office today, it's to late Royal Mail have lost the workforce, most of our office have the fantastic PDA alarms set for the daily last letter times, soon as it goes off stop & head back to the van & take everything left back to the office & home.

Re: Structural revision
All I can say to anyone about to suffer a structural revision is buckle up and good luck. Ours been in since September and it’s been a gigantic mess that can’t/won’t be fixed.

Re: Structural revision
If any smaller tracked are in the bundles they go back in the frame with the mail next day, ran out of time, no time to check, the oversized tracked will have been delivered, management know the walks are far to long & rocking the boat will just make their job even worse, they now keep out the way in the office

All d2d must b put in the frames on Monday.( cant wait till I get 5 )..Some staff seem happy ,some not.Apparently after 6 weeks there will look if anything needs changing. Re: Structural revision
Assuming that someone in your DO has updated Route Planner with the new walks, ytou'll find that your sequenced mail comes in wrong until the batches next get updated on CSSs/iLSMs/IMPs (don't know if they do sequencing on T2K machines)wazer wrote: ↑24 Feb 2022, 19:53Our starts Monday. Re: Structural revision
Ours went live end of October, it's been a mess and nothing has changed yet. Supposedly redoing the full thing again soon

Re: Structural revision
Our went live in August. It is still a mess. Nothing has been changed. We were told they were going to bring back the planners and redo the whole thing then they said they couldn't do that.citypostie wrote: ↑25 Feb 2022, 19:47

Then they said they were going to remove the dedicated parcel duties and then they said they couldn't do that.
Then they did nothing yet we still have God knows how many managers working on revising the revision. The next one will be due before they decide how to fix this one.
The whole thing is embarrassing.
If the climate was a bank, they would already have saved it.

Re: Structural revision
My walk now takes an extra 45 mins .The way the route takes you is nuts.Propertys missing. They have two of us now doing 20 house in one street,18 in another. Then the biggest part of walk added on 15 places on trading estate but now just one person walks it.Dead walking majority of routes. One part got u driving up one way system.Deeer. Spoke to rep and he said but that the easiest way. Managers asked for feedback .Told them but hey it's only to last for 6 weeks.Yer right. They really paid somebody to do this.
