Annual revisions : Within our agreement, the revision process will become an annual event
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Revisions that have been put off to next year won't happen.
The ones that have been pushed through, with multiple duties failing every day, won't be fixed.

The union is having less and less say in the revision process, that's no accident.
It will become an annual box ticking exercise where offices shrink to fit the declining mail volumes.
You could actually plot 10 revisions in one go using projected declines and use the software to prebuild these revisions ready to take off the shelf as and when needed. You would then only need to add on whatever new development appeared that year.
You would need quality planning teams though, not posties who have done a 3 day planning for beginners course.

Sounds good. Nothing like a revision to help with office morale and team building within Royal Mail

Re-pick every year and you can't choose the same route 2 years in a row. You know it makes sense

Christmas happens every year and they still manage to screw it up, so there's no hope for annual revisions
