Yep, just looked at vacancies and found at least three with Sunday in the job description:

The next time any DO has a major revision triggering a complete office re-sign it'll be interesting to see if RM have the possibility of Sunday working for all the duties

There would be no reason to change unless every single duty in the unit was delivering Sundays in the future and that isn't going to happen. I have just started a full revision which will include a full resign in a small unit and I doubt that there will be any Sunday duties.

As things stand right now it's an extra £5+ an hour on Sunday if it's built into your duty.
Royal Mail will try as much as possible to avoid that.

But it makes no odds in financial terms whether you have 20 working every Sunday or 60 working one Sunday in 3. You'll still pay the same amount out.

As we've got 'local solutions', it'll depend what an office decides, surely.

We still deliver far more letters than parcels.
The majority of time on delivery is still spent delivering letters although the balance is changing.

It's probably not going to be too much longer before we're processing more Tracked than normal parcels
